Terms of Service
Event Booking Details
All bookings will be regarded as confirmed once the client makes a non-refundable deposit for the required services (as set out in Clause 2 below), and only if accepted by Ivory Keys and funds have been cleared will the booking be confirmed.
Price & Payment
Ivory Keys - Is not under any obligation to honour quotes beyond 10 working days from the date a quote was provided.
Deposit – A non-refundable deposit of £200 of the total fee payable, as quoted and agreed in the written proposal on the contract or email, of any event or programme shall be payable on confirmation of the order. The remainder shall be known as the "balance".
Balance Due – The balance of the total fee shall be payable 7 days prior to the event date.
Late Bookings – Should a booking be made within 20 working days of the event date, payment in full will be required to secure the event.
International Bookings – The Client must cover the cost of flights, transfers, accommodation and provide meals or £50 per day food allowance.
Methods of Payment
Bank transfer: Details available upon request from Ivory Keys.
The Client must inform Ivory Keys in writing of any bank transfers.
Cancellation (Events)
Should an event be cancelled, the deposit will be lost and can’t be moved to a future date. The deposit acts as security for that date in particular.
All cancellations must be received in writing from the client and will be deemed to take effect from the date of receipt.
Cancellation (Piano Lessons)
Ivory Keys will require 24 hours notice for any cancellations to the lessons. If a lesson is cancelled over the 24 hour period there will still be a charge for the lesson.
Service
The Client, engages Ivory Keys to provide the services to the client and Ivory Keys agrees to provide the services for the client on the event date as agreed and subject to the terms and conditions.
All proposals made, quotations given, instructions accepted and contracts entered into by Ivory Keys with any person representing the client, for the supply of the services are subject to these terms and conditions. This excludes any other terms and conditions, verbal notice or declaration which the client accepts or purports to accept.
Liability
Ivory Keys shall provide Public Liability insurance cover of £10million but on any one period in respect of Products Liability Claims.
It is agreed by both parties that the equipment and instruments of the musician performing for the event are not available for use by other performers or persons except by specific permission of the musician.
In the event of sickness or accident to Ivory Keys, or if a performance is rendered impossible or infeasible by any cause beyond the control of Ivory Keys, it is understood and agreed that there shall be no claim for damages by either party to this Agreement, and Ivory Keys' obligation as to such performance shall be deemed waived. In this event, a full refund (including the deposit) shall be provided to the Client.
